Featured Dog: Tara O'Hara
All of our foster dogs are special. But Tara is one of those dogs that represent what doing rescue is all about. Tara was abandoned in Kansas early this year and lived under a burnt-out trailer till a Good Samaritan saved her. We got her safe to our director's Pueblo West home in March -- and then Tara surprised us all by having a litter of puppies (whom we called the "Gone with the Wind Pups") a day after arrival! Tara was a good mama to her pups, and she has learned about the goodness of people during her stay at Hope's. Can You Foster a Collie or Sheltie?
We have dogs coming in just about weekly, and we always need foster homes. If you have a fenced yard, are dog savvy and are a loving, responsible person -- let's hear from you. Previous PCSR adopters make wonderful foster homes too! Write us at info@pueblocolliesheltie.org if you can help.

Pueblo Collie Sheltie Rescue, Inc., (PC/SR) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization established to rescue, rehabilitate and place lost, abused and abandoned collies, collie-mixes, shelties and sheltie-mixes in loving, responsible homes. Dogs stay in foster care and receive complete veterinary care until carefully screened and approved adopters are matched to rescue dogs.
