We desperately need foster homes. Wherever you live in Colorado or even in another state, we would like to hear from you.
If you are interested in fostering, please remember that you will be asked to help determine a dog's personality so as to best help find a suitable permanent home. For example, you can help us determine if the dog is good around children, cats or other dogs; and whether it barks excessively when left alone. The dog's temperament may not be truly known so you must exercise caution. Some dogs may have behavior problems because of past abuse, but "biters" and dogs with aggression issues won't be accepted into Pueblo Collie/Sheltie Rescue. If you are interested in fostering a dog, we will cover all medical and associated expenses for the dog while in foster care.
You are in no way obligated to Pueblo Collie/Sheltie Rescue by filling out this questionnaire. A Rescue volunteer will call you to further discuss foster care. Should you decide to volunteer, you would be required to read and sign a foster home agreement.
